The EU Ecolabel is the official European environmental label that recognizes tourism establishments committed to responsible and measurable ecological management. It is based on continuous improvement of environmental performance, complete transparency towards the public, and active involvement of stakeholders.
The label covers four key areas: water and energy management, waste reduction and sorting, protection of biodiversity and ecosystems, as well as responsible purchasing of products and less polluting resources.
Accueil Vélo
Accueil Vélo is a French national label that recognizes tourism establishments committed to quality service and adapted welcome for cyclists. Created in 2008 by France Vélo Tourisme, this label guarantees personalized service and equipment specifically designed for bicycle travelers.
The label is based on concrete criteria: warm and informative welcome, secure bike installations or proximity to a marked cycle route.

Qualidog
Emmène Ton Chien created the Qualidog label, a French dog-friendly label that recognizes tourism establishments genuinely committed to quality welcome for dogs. Launched in 2008, this label goes beyond the simple "animals accepted" by guaranteeing service and equipment adapted to your canine companion.
The certification is based on objective criteria: secure dog spaces, dedicated equipment, adapted services (walking advice, veterinary contacts), and a truly welcoming atmosphere.
By choosing Domaine de la Forge (rated 1 paw according to Emmène Ton Chien's scale), your dog benefits from a welcome truly designed for him in Arcachon Basin. We welcome one dog per accommodation: maximum weight 20 kg, 7€ per night, mandatory leash and up-to-date vaccination certificate required. You can notably enjoy the pine forest spanning several hectares where the Domaine is located.
